(SOLD OUT) Evermay Chamber returns to Halcyon House for a performance of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 12 in A Major and Schumann’s Piano Quintet in E-Flat Major, Op.44. Pianists Yu Kosuge and Ryo Yanagitani take the stage with the award-winning string players of Evermay Chamber, led by Artistic Director and S&R Washington Award Grand Prize winner and violinist, Tamaki Kawakubo. Doors open at 6:00 pm and the concert begin promptly at 6:30 pm. Ticket price includes a post-concert drinks reception and complimentary valet.

In this debut collaboration, Evermay Chamber soloists partner with the Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras of Strathmore in Beethoven’s majestic Triple Concerto in C Major, Op. 56. Mozart’s Divertimento in D Major, K.136, and Piano Concerto No. 14 in E-flat Major, K.449 form an invigorating first half program. S&R is proud to partner on this performance with the Music Center at Strathmore and Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras.

This exclusive Strathmore engagement was the Chamber's first performance at an outside venue, and included guest artists Jonathon Troy (clarinet) and Sabatino Scirri (flute/piccolo). Their program included Tchaikovsky’s brilliant homage, Souvenir de Florence, and Carnival of the Animals—the popular, whimsical musical suite by Saint-Saëns.
